 1951-1957: M.B.B.S. at Guntur Medical College and Andhra Medical College, Won a Prize and Gold Medal in OB.G., Andhra University, in the final year M.B.B.S

6.Professional Career:
1-1-1959: Started Private Practice in Guntur
1959-1964: Honorary Assisant Medical officer, G.G.H Guntur.
1967: Constructed his own Nursing Home with 70 beds, practised General Medicine, General Surgery, and Obstetrics and gynaecology,
            Worked 12 hours a day for 40 years.

7. Service Related to Medical Profession:
    1969-1989 : Secreary, The guntur Medical Association.
    1969-1995 : President, The Guntur Medical Association.
    1981-1999:  Managing director of Coastal Diagnostics Serices (M.R.I & C.T. Scan).
    1988-2001: President, The I.M.A. Guntur branch, which was adjudged the Best Local Branch in a state in India.

8. As a Promoter of Education:
1967: Founder Member of the Nagarjuna Education Society, Guntur.
1971-1996: President S.P.S. High School, Guntur.
1976-1988: Secretary & Correspondent, JKC College, Guntur.
1983: Founder of Dr.K.L.P.Public School, Ring Road, Guntur.

1971- to date: President, The Kamma Vidyarthi Sahaya Sangham (Kamma Hostel), Arundelpet, Guntur.
2003: President of the Nagarjuna Education Society & President of 8 institutions run by the Society.
2003: President of the kakatiya student welfare society.
2005: Member of the Academic Senate of Acharya Nagarjuna University.

9. Philanthropy:

He donated more than Rs.90 lakhs to various Insitutions and Assciations: The Nagarjuna education Society, P.A.S College, pedanandipadu, Andhra Muslim College, Aarya Samajam, Kamma Vidyadhi Sahaya Sangham, Old-Age Home, Temples, Mahaprasthanam (Cremation  Ground), Pitruvanam (Cremation Ground), Tummala vari Trust, Bharathi Dharmika Parishad, etc. As the IMA President, Guntur he collected Rs.2.68 lakhs towards the kargil Fund. Registered a Public charitable Trust and funded property worth Rs.3 crore and wants to promote Education and Health. Constructed ASRAYAMU- Senior Citizens Home at Pedapalakaluru village, near Guntur in an area of 2 acres for 90 inmates with all facilities.

10. Association with Social & Cultural Organisations:

Conducted Sathavadhanam and tikkana Utsavaalu, As president of tummala sitarama Murthy Trust, Collected Rs.7 Lakhs, printed and published 5 volumes of the poetry of :Kavibrahma" Etukuri venkata Narasaiah.

Came from an agricultural family, Health and dutiful wife, two sons and a daughter. His elder son is a practising General Surgeon. his elder daugher-in-law is a practising Gynaecologist. His younger son is practising Pediatrician. His younger daughter-in-law is a house wife. His Son-in-law is  a practising General Surgoen. His daughter is a house wife.
