ASRAYAMU was managed by a trust named "Dr.Kondabolu Basavapunnaiah & Lakshmi Prasad Trust".

This trust is formed on 9 th August 1983, in memory of the beloved eldest son , Dr K Lakshmi Prasad of Dr K Basavapunnaiah and Mrs Venkatasubbamma . Dr Kondabolu Basavapunnaiah is the Managing Trustee of this trust with his family members serving as the team of trustees .

Aims and objectives

(1) To help the needy in the fields of education and health
(2) To help the destitute old and orphaned children
(3) To promote literature, fine arts, science and technology
(4) To help the public in cash or kind during calamities
(5) Feeding the poor and rendering help to the blind and specially challenged .
(6) Carry out such social activities as may be considered as charitable or of general public utility.

Activities taken up so far

(1) Construction of ASRAYAMU, a senior citizens home
(2) Free meal scheme for the destitutes
(3) Free health camps at Asrayamu
(4) Donating to spiritual service organisations like Sri Venkateswara swamy Devalayam , Brindavan Gardens , Guntur
(5) Donating to student welfare organisations like Sri Kakatiya students welfare Society

Donations made to this trust qualify for 80 G under Income tax .
